1. Start with the yellow chevron to determine aircraft attitude.

2. Next move up to the split triangle to determine slip/skid, then look at the roll pointer for correct bank angle. Return to yellow chevron.

3. Move eyes left to view the airspeed indicator; also check the trend indicator. Return to yellow chevron.

4. Move eyes right to the altimeter tape and change pitch to adjust. Return to yellow chevron.

5. Move eyes down to the heading indicator, then back up to the yellow chevron.

6. Next look at engine indications and moving map display on the MFD, then return to the yellow chevron.
